I purchased a Wacom Intuos Draw tablet the other day. I came across it while looking up some drawing and painting software (I settled on ArtRage Lite after a quick review of features and whatnot) and the price wasn’t bad, so I decided to get it.
I’ve always wanted to get back into drawing and was looking for an easy way to do the by-hand thing (more comfortable and natural than using a mouse) and get it into digital format without going through the hassle of scanning stuff in. I’m not particularly talented at drawing, but I can do a few things here and there, and I figured that I could spice things up around here as well with some updated logos and the occasional image for a post or whatever. I did a quick “painting” as a test of the tablet — that’s the attachment that I named The Dandy. Dude looks ready to go on the prowl, huh? 😉
Well, expect to see more hand-drawn art around here, since I have to update the site graphics anyway.
