… this Jose Theodore thing doesn’t seem to be working out, does it? The man gives up entirely too many goals in entirely too many games. Haven’t been watching tonight’s game (I know, I know, bad fan — but I had to wash clothes! Really! And there was this light fixture that needed to be installed…), but I’ve checked the score, and it ain’t pretty so far. Buffalo leads, 4-0, in the second period and at the time I checked, Theodore had given up four goals on 18 shots. On eighteen shots!! His save percentage would be in for a horrible hit… if it wasn’t already a little low, that is. I know the Caps aren’t paragons of great defense (I mean, really, giving up 18 shots in two periods? Gimme a break!), but I really hope he rights the ship soon, ‘cuz good goaltenders don’t grow on trees and Brent Johnson can only do so much.
Ugh. I guess I’ll tune in and see what’s going on; after all, the Caps are capable of putting up a few goals in bunches, even though Ovie’s not playing tonight.
