Hey, folks. Reporting in from rustic Bushkill, PA. I know you’re dying to ask — Scooter, what are you doing in the Poconos? Well, nothing romantic, I assure you. 😛 I’m at an 11-day (!) training course at a resort up here, learning about (and hopefully getting certified in) .NET programming. Secondarily, I’d love to get some golf in, too, but we’ll have to see about that when all of the work is done. I’d been to upper northeast Pennsylvania before, to points near to here, but I’m still a little surprised at how out-of-the-way this place is. Definitely seems to be a great getaway place for recreation.
The drive up here was decent and uneventful, which was certainly welcome. Thing is, it’s rather boring up here, since I don’t have anyone to hang out with; most normal stuff is relatively far away.
Still working on and getting work done on my new house. Should have some new before-and-after pics up at some point.
